Agate Series

As an East Asian designer working in Berlin, machtvoll incorporates Chinese traditional materials into contemporary design. Natural agate has always been a focus—some pieces have silk-like lines, some look like eyes, and others resemble light spots. Each stone is unique.
Every creation becomes a new dialogue with the material, and also between different materials. Even contrasting elements can come together and create a new life and language. This is both a material experiment and a way of challenging conventional jewelry design.
