Rubber Soul
The series originates from the designer’s material-based artworks, where recycled rubber is transformed into black sequins for paintings and installations. Evolving this practice, she wove and extended the material into wearable forms.
Each bead is a piece of reclaimed rubber, collectively creating jewelry that blurs the boundary between accessory and artwork.
The standout piece is a body chain constructed like a man’s tie. With its woven structure, it serves as both a playful reinterpretation of the tie and a subtle critique of masculine power symbols.
