Machtvoll pieces are built from a wide range of materials—metal, glass, rubber, leather, pearls and natural stones. Each element carries its own behavior and aging process. The notes below outline how to care for your piece and preserve its form over time.
General Care
Avoid prolonged moisture and dry gently after contact with water.
Keep pieces away from harsh chemicals, perfumes, hair products and cleaning agents.
Store jewelry separately to prevent scratches or pressure on delicate structures.
Avoid strong impact, bending or weight on chain-based or woven constructions.
Keep gradient or dyed beads away from long exposure to direct sunlight.
Metal (Stainless Steel)
Resistant to everyday wear, but should still be dried after moisture.
Wipe with a soft cloth to maintain surface clarity.
Avoid abrasive cleaning tools that may dull the finish.
Glass & Gradient Glass Beads
Handle with care to avoid impact or dropping.
Prolonged UV exposure may alter the gradient over time—store in a shaded place.
Clean gently with a soft cloth; avoid chemical cleaners.
Rubber
Wipe with a damp cloth and allow to dry fully.
Avoid extreme heat, sharp objects or prolonged stretching.
Natural surface marks may develop through wear; this is part of the material’s character.
Leather (Rigid or Structured Leather)
Keep away from moisture and oils to preserve the surface tension of the leather.
Do not fold or forcefully bend; structured leather may lose shape under pressure.
Clean with a dry cloth only.
Pearls (Irregular / Natural)
Avoid moisture, perfumes and lotions; pearls are sensitive to acids and chemicals.
Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing.
Store in a dry environment, separate from metal chain structures.
Natural Stones (Agate, Citrine, Rose Quartz, etc.)
Avoid heavy impact; stones can chip even when durable.
Wipe with a soft cloth; avoid ultrasonic cleaners.
Variations in color and pattern are natural and will remain stable under normal wear.
Chain Structures & Woven Metal Lace
Avoid pulling, twisting or snagging the chain network.
Store flat or hanging to maintain line tension.
If tangling occurs, detangle gently—do not force apart.
Adjustable Open Ring Bands
Adjust gently and only when necessary.
Avoid repeated bending which may weaken the structure over time.
